Game Data & Reset Instructions

Fake Chat Detective uses anonymous authentication and does not require account creation, passwords, or personal credentials. Because there is no account dashboard or sign-in profile, managing your data is simple and direct.

How to Clear Your Local Game Progress

To reset or delete your local save state, Detective Name, and case progress from your device:

1. Open your device Settings.

2. Navigate to Apps (or App Manager).

3. Select Fake Chat Detective.

4. Tap Storage & Cache.

5. Tap Clear Storage (or Clear Data).

Alternatively, uninstalling the application will immediately remove all stored local data from your device.

Requesting Removal of Leaderboard Data

If you wish to remove your anonymous Detective Name and score entry from the online Cloud Firestore leaderboard:

1. Send an email to support@amanjainstudio.site.

2. Subject: `Leaderboard Entry Removal Request`.

3. State your chosen Detective Name.

Requests are processed within 7 business days.
